I have been to Scotland many times and believe distilleries are as common as castles in this majestic land. Among all of them, NcNean is quite a unique one: run by a woman, it stands as proof that tradition can be shaped by those willing to take the lead. It’s not just whisky there - it’s legacy, craft, and the quiet revolution that fills those casks. I took the long and contemplative drive to the edge of the Highlands to see what Annabelle is up to there.
